Piola, a hip, international, Euro-style pizzeria was launching in Atlanta during the height of the recession. The management team, located in New York, was daunted by the seemingly complicated Atlanta market, specifically, Midtown. The restaurant was built in the new 1010 Building in the then up-and-coming Midtown Mile, but the Midtown community was not familiar with this type of restaurant. In true Euro-fashion, Piola hoped to be a community bistro with strong ties to the local community of artists, businesses, and residents.
Bill Kaelin Marketing acted as Piola’s brand-liaison in Atlanta, securing partnerships with local businesses and residential complexes to stir up the buzz about the new, hip pizzeria on the block. Overseeing marketing, public relations, and staffing, encouraging relationships with local charities and neighborhood associations, and planning the official launch party, Bill Kaelin Marketing secured a successful start for Piola Atlanta.
Piola Atlanta is reaching its two-year anniversary, and welcomes hundreds of diners a month. Regulars and first-timers alike enjoy delicious, hip, yet casual dinners seven days a week, and frequent cultural and community-based events put on by…you guessed it… Bill Kaelin Marketing.
