5 Napkin Burger, a New York-based, national, upscale restaurant chain, completed construction on their first Atlanta location in the spring of 2011. To introduce the new Midtown restaurant to the public, they hosted a series of targeted “preview” dinners. However, because they are based in New York, they did not have the connections to Atlanta tastemakers and VIPs that could ignite brand awareness through the ever valuable word-of-mouth.
5 Napkin Burger hired BKM to host a VIP night specifically for tastemakers and select members of the media using the extensive Atlanta contact database BKM has on file.
The VIP night was a huge success, bringing almost 300 guests to the new venue. 5 Napkin Burger has asked BKM to continue to act as a community liaison and consult on Atlanta-based marketing initiatives.
